Last Saturday we ventured out into the cold and had dinner at Marche 27 - sibling restaurant to both Greasy Spoon and Lucille's Oyster Dive. We had a really great meal, patly because the food was simple, clean, fresh and good, but mostly because it's a great neighbourhood restaurant (if the plateau happens to be your neighbourhood...) with friendly service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere...sort of like your friend's house, but with better food.
