So anyone who has been to New Orleans knows that you can't escape without trying the world famous beignets and chicory coffee at Cafe du Monde. Even after filling our boots while we were there we returned home with a craving, which we satified immidiately upon discoving that Cafe du Monde delivers their products to Canada. Since then, a yellow can of Coffee with Chicory and a cardbox box of beignet mix have had their own real estate in our panty for whenever the urge hits. NB: the beignets really do have to be deep fried and dusted with icing sugar to capture the fully, satisfyingly nausea-inducing effect of the N'O original.
